Our Team

The Reflective Publishing team is dedicated to continued education in accessibility. We work to provide quality, sustainable products and services that are accessible visually, physically, and financially.

Emily Sperling (Dragon)

Emily is the owner of Reflective Publishing and has worked on hundreds of projects over the years. She is a ghost writer, editor, designer, and audio engineer. She has worked in film, theater, and publishing for over ten years. She is excited to be writing our first computer game, which has been in production since 2021 and will be releasing in 2024. Her passion is to work with non-profits to produce educational materials and help new artists publish and connect with a strong team. She manages the PlayguePals, a team of gamers who raise funds for BIPOC Support Foundation and Extra Life. She goes by Emily Dragon for most of her work, although uses pseudonyms for ghost writing purposes.

Tim Jones

Tim has an MA in writing and has turned those talents to editing and researching for Reflective Publishing. His passion is working on bright, engaging stories like our children’s books but also has a weakness for mythology. Our upcoming novel (in partnership with Antoine Bandelle) and computer game Ghost Bros are filled with intriguing elements to research.

Lauren Gilbert (Jackson)

Lauren has been with Reflective Publishing since the beginning, as a letterer, designer, and alpha reader for the projects we publish and work on for self-publishers. She loves reading, working with artists and writers, and has a knack for matching the ideal look with the personality of a project.

Jarrod Jackson

Jarrod, one of Reflective Publishing’s founders, is our illustrator and go-to designer for the titles we publish or have the pleasure to work on. With an MA in art, he loves working in complex style and has mentored many of the illustrators we have hired.
